Role Overview

We are looking for a Europe-based AI Developer to join a strategic manufacturing transformation initiative. The successful candidate will leverage Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies to deliver innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency, production reliability, product quality, and automation across manufacturing environments. This position requires a combination of strong AI development expertise and hands-on manufacturing industry experience.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and deploy AI/ML solutions supporting manufacturing operationsDevelop predictive maintenance models using machine, equipment, and sensor dataCreate computer vision models for automated quality inspection and defect detectionBuild forecasting models for production planning, inventory management, and supply chain optimisationDevelop Generative AI and LLM-based applications to enhance operational processes and knowledge managementWork closely with manufacturing, engineering, and business teams to identify and deliver AI use casesBuild scalable data pipelines and support AI model deploymentImplement MLOps best practices including monitoring, retraining, and performance optimisationAnalyse large-scale industrial datasets to identify trends and improvement opportunitiesIntegrate AI solutions into existing manufacturing and enterprise platformsEnsure compliance with security, governance, and operational requirements

Required Experience

5+ years of experience developing AI and Machine Learning solutions5+ years of experience within manufacturing environments (mandatory)Strong proficiency in Python and modern AI frameworksExperience with Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Generative AI technologiesExperience deploying AI models in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP)Knowledge of industrial data platforms, Industrial IoT, and manufacturing systemsExperience with data engineering concepts and MLOps methodologiesUnderstanding of production environments and manufacturing processesStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
