Application Packager

My client are looking for an experienced Application Packaging Specialist with hands-on experience using Juriba APR (Application Portfolio Reporting) to join there team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the packaging and preparation of applications as part of large-scale application migration, deployment, modernisation, and transformation programmes. You will work with application owners, technical teams, and project stakeholders to assess applications, gather the required information, prepare packaging requirements, and ensure applications are ready for deployment through the relevant endpoint management platform. Key Responsibilities or the Juriba APR consultantUse Juriba APR to manage and track application packaging activities.Review application portfolios and identify applications requiring packaging or remediation.Assess application requirements, dependencies, versions, and deployment considerations.Gather application installation media, documentation, configuration requirements, and technical information.Package applications for enterprise deployment across Windows environments.Ensure packages meet agreed technical, security, and deployment standards.Coordinate packaging activities with application owners and technical teams.Record and maintain accurate application information within Juriba APR.Track packaging status, progress, issues, dependencies, and approvals.Perform testing and validation of application packages.Troubleshoot packaging and installation issues.Support application remediation where applications require changes before deployment.Work closely with deployment teams to ensure successfully packaged applications are ready for rollout.Maintain clear technical documentation and packaging records.Provide regular progress updates and highlight risks, blockers, and dependencies. Technical Skills & Experience of the Juriba APR consultant Proven experience working with Juriba APR.Strong experience in application packaging within an enterprise environment.Experience packaging Windows applications for large-scale deployments.Knowledge of application installation technologies such as MSI, MSIX, App-V, or executable-based installers.Experience with silent installations, transforms, installation parameters, detection methods, and application dependencies.Understanding of application testing and deployment processes.Experience working with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM) or similar endpoint management technologies.Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and enterprise application deployment.Ability to investigate and resolve application installation and packaging issues.Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to application packaging and documentation.
