Automation Solution Architect | 📍 Remote (EU), occasional travel | 💸 Up to €430/day | Contract until end of 2026 I'm supporting a large enterprise business that's starting a new AI and automation programme, and they need an Automation Solution Architect to shape it from day one. You'll take a first wave of pilot use cases from idea to working solution, and set the standards for how the business picks and builds automation from then on. It's greenfield, so the approach you put in place now is the one everyone else will follow. This role suits someone who can tell when an agentic/LLM approach earns its place and when simpler automation will do a better job, and who can make that case to engineers, security teams and business leaders alike. What you'll be doing:Leading solution design for AI and automation use cases across a mix of platformsWeighing up each use case on value, feasibility, integration effort, security and running costs (including LLM usage)Creating a vendor-neutral approach for choosing the right tool for each job, from RPA and workflow tools through to GenAI platformsDesigning agentic solutions: agents and tools, prompt and context strategy, RAG, human-in-the-loop and guardrailsProducing design documentation that stands up to security and architecture reviewDefining integration, testing and evaluation, monitoring and production-readiness standardsWorking closely with architecture, security and build teams to keep everything joined up What they're looking for:Proven experience designing and delivering AI/LLM or agentic automation into productionHands-on with n8n and/or UiPath (ideally including its agentic features)Hands-on with Google Cloud AI services such as Vertex AISolid AWS experienceStrong integration architecture background: APIs, event-driven design, workflow orchestrationExperience taking solutions through enterprise security and governanceHappy to travel for the occasional business tripConfident with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
