Hands-on network specialist with deep expertise in low-level Ethernet switching and hardware-level diagnostics within automotive embedded systems. Extensive experience working across Layer 1–2, including PHY interfaces, MAC behavior, and frame-level traffic analysis. Combines strong theoretical knowledge with practical lab-based debugging to ensure robust and high-performance communication systems.Highly proficient in using oscilloscopes and advanced measurement equipment as a primary tool for debugging and validation. Experienced in capturing and analyzing high-speed signals, performing eye diagram measurements, jitter analysis, and verifying signal integrity on Automotive Ethernet interfaces (e.g. 100BASE-T1, 1000BASE-T1). Able to diagnose complex electrical and timing issues directly on hardware, bridging the gap between physical layer behavior and protocol-level performance. Strong understanding of Ethernet standards and embedded architectures, with hands-on experience debugging switching hardware, analyzing timing constraints and resolving complex stability and performance issues in real-time systems. Core Technical Competence Requirements:Deep knowledge of Automotive Ethernet and IEEE 802.3 standardsStrong experience with PHY/MAC interfaces, SerDes and signal integrityAdvanced oscilloscope usage (high-speed measurements, decoding, eye diagrams, jitter, triggering)Hands-on lab debugging and hardware validationPacket/frame-level analysis using tools such as WiresharkUnderstanding of switch architectures (VLANs, QoS, TSN, buffering, forwarding behavior)Experience with embedded Linux or RTOS environments and low-level driversHardware bring-up, board validation and component-level debuggingKnowledge of automotive Ethernet communication L2/L3 protocols (UDP, TCP/IP, SOME/IP)Knowledge of software build chain using GitLab/Git/JenkinsHands-on experience in programming languages Python/C/C++
