ABOUT THE ROLEIn this role, you will:Support battery safety testing and contribute to the validation of abuse systems.Conduct bench testing, including scenarios like overcharge, to assess performance and risks.Assist in the development of test setups and simulation models.Collaborate with the team to address unplanned test cases and ensure smooth operations.Work according to high standards of quality and risk management. What is the product?Safe, reliable, and high-performance battery systems for next-generation applications, validated through rigorous testing and simulation. What technologies/tools?Testing Tools: Battery test benches, abuse testing equipment.Simulation Software: Tools for modeling battery behavior (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink, or equivalent).Standards & Compliance: Knowledge of industry standards for battery safety.Data Analysis: Proficiency in analyzing test data (e.g., Python, LabVIEW, or Excel). Nice to have:Experience with automated testing systems or scripting.Familiarity with battery management systems (BMS) or embedded systems.Exposure to high-voltage systems or electric vehicle (EV) technologies.
