Redstone Commodity Search are working with leading trading and brokerage house looking to hire a biofuels trader to join their team. Key Responsibilities / Tasks Execute biofuel trading strategies across physical products and certificates to maximise profitability and manage risk.Monitor and analyse market developments, including price movements, regulatory changes, and geopolitical events, to identify trading opportunities.Manage a trading book and P&L, ensuring disciplined risk management while consistently delivering against performance targets.Negotiate and execute transactions with market participants, maintaining strong relationships to support efficient trade execution.Collaborate with internal trading and brokerage teams to share market intelligence, optimise strategies, and support desk performance. Key Qualifications / Experience 5+ years of experience in biofuel trading, preferably within a leading global trading or brokerage firm.Strong expertise in physical biofuels and environmental certificates, with a deep understanding of market dynamics and pricing.Demonstrated ability to manage trading positions and P&L, balancing commercial opportunities with effective risk management.Excellent analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to react quickly to changing market conditions.Strong negotiation and communication skills, with experience working collaboratively in a high-performance trading environment and fluency in English.
