Boat Assembly Operator
About The Role
X Shore is looking for a Boat Assembly Operator to build and assemble boats as part of its production team. You’ll follow technical drawings, work instructions, and quality standards to fit components and complete assembly tasks safely and accurately. Working closely with production, quality, and engineering colleagues, you’ll help resolve issues and support a consistent manufacturing process.
This is a hands-on, on-site role in a boat manufacturing environment. It suits someone who is practical, detail-oriented, and comfortable using tools to carry out assembly work as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble boat structures, components, and fittings in accordance with drawings and work instructionsUse hand tools and assembly equipment safely and correctlyPrepare, fit, and secure parts and materials to meet production requirementsRead and follow technical drawings, assembly instructions, and production documentationInspect completed work and identify defects or assembly issuesReport discrepancies, damaged parts, or missing information to the appropriate teamWork with production, quality, and engineering colleagues to resolve technical issues and improve assembly processesMaintain an organised work area and follow safety, quality, and production proceduresRecord completed work and communicate progress in line with production requirements
Required Qualifications
Practical experience in assembly, manufacturing, or a related hands-on roleAbility to read and follow technical drawings, work instructions, and production documentationConfident and safe use of hand tools and assembly equipmentStrong attention to detail and a consistent approach to qualityAbility to work effectively as part of a production team and communicate issues clearlyCommitment to following workplace health and safety proceduresAbility to work on-site in Nyköping
Desirable Qualifications
Experience in boat, marine, automotive, or another complex hardware manufacturing environmentExperience assembling boats, vehicles, or other large productsFamiliarity with production quality checks and documentationRelevant vocational training in manufacturing, assembly, or a related technical fieldExperience working with a range of materials, components, and fastening methods

Careful and methodical, with a practical approach to hands-on work. Takes pride in producing accurate, dependable assemblies and raises concerns when work does not match the drawing or expected standard. Reliable and collaborative, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a growing production environment.

On-site in Nyköping, Sweden. Works as part of X Shore’s production team.
