The role involves supporting and driving financial processes, participating in strategic decision-making and ensuring that financial targets are met. Research & Development is currently undergoing major changes in ways of working, systems and roles - and Controlling is evolving accordingly. Operating in a global context, Controlling plays an important role as a business partner. You will actively contribute to designing and implementing the future financial management model.EducationMaster's degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering.Required ExperienceMinimum 5 years of experience in Business Controlling or a similar finance controlling role.Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting.Experience supporting or partnering with management teams.Experience working in an international and global business environment is highly desirable.Experience with financial closing processes, KPI follow-up, and performance management.Experience influencing cost development and supporting strategic business decisions.Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and leadership teams.Required Skills & CompetenciesBusiness & Analytical SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Structured and results-oriented approach with the ability to deliver high-quality outcomes.Strong business acumen and interest in product and business development.Ability to work effectively in a changing environment where solutions are not always clearly defined.High level of integrity and professional judgment.Communication & Stakeholder ManagementExcellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to build strong relationships with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.Capability to influence decision-making across different organizational levels.Strong collaboration skills in a global and matrix organization.Technical SkillsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.Strong knowledge of Power BI.Experience with SAP is considered a strong advantage.Strong systems knowledge and data analysis capabilities.
