Cloud Developer - GitLab to GitHub migration

Assignment description2 positions for Cloud Developer - GitLab to GitHub migration Cloud Foundation's GCP team is migrating its source code repositories from GitLab to GitHub, including the associated CI/CD pipelines, integrations, dependencies and processes. We are looking for two experienced consultants to join the team, execute the migration and ensure a high-quality handover. Scope:Analyse existing GitLab CI/CD pipelines and their technical dependenciesRewrite and adapt the pipelines to GitHub Actions on the target GitHub platformEnsure build, test, deployment, security and other automated processes keep working after migrationExecute the repository migrations from GitLab to GitHubIdentify risks, technical challenges and blockers, and work proactively with relevant stakeholders to resolve themVerify that repositories, access, integrations, workflows and CI/CD are operational after migrationWork closely with the Cloud Foundation GCP team to understand the current repository landscape, processes, tooling and migration plansDocument findings, decisions, configurations and migration procedures, and transfer knowledge and responsibilities to the team so it can continue to own the platformExpected delivery: repositories successfully migrated, CI/CD pipelines rewritten and validated in GitHub Actions, technical solutions and procedures documented, and knowledge effectively transferred to the GCP Cloud Foundation team.
