Cybersecurity Transition manager

For one of my customer we are looking for a Cybersecuirty Operations Transitions Manager.Location: Europe(100% remote)Duration: 6+ months(renewable)Description:The Cyber Operations Transition Manager is responsible for leading the transition, transformation, and operational governance of cybersecurity services across multiple security domains. The role manages a team of Product Owners responsible for Operational Technology (OT) Security, Endpoint Security, Cloud Security, and Security Operations.The position establishes sustainable operating models, drives service excellence, and aligns cybersecurity capabilities with business objectives, risk management priorities, and regulatory requirements.The Cyber Operations Transition Manager acts as the primary interface between cybersecurity leadership, product owners, vendors, business stakeholders, and operational teams to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient cybersecurity services.Key responsibilities:Lead the Cyber Operations portfolio across OT, endpoint, cloud, SOC, vulnerability management, and incident response.Manage transitions from MSSPs and external partners to internal or GCC teams.Define transition roadmaps covering people, processes, technology, governance, and knowledge transfer.Lead and coach Product Owners, overseeing priorities, roadmaps, budgets, resources, and delivery.Establish operating models, KPIs, SLAs, service reviews, and executive reporting.Drive operational excellence, automation, service maturity, and continuous improvement.Manage cybersecurity vendors and strategic partners against contractual obligations.Present performance, risks, roadmaps, and transformation progress to senior stakeholders.Translate cybersecurity strategy into operational initiatives, including Zero Trust, CNAPP/CSPM, SOC transformation, and AI-driven security operations.Required profile:10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, IT operations, or security service management.5+ years leading cybersecurity programs, services, or operational teams.Proven experience delivering large-scale service transitions and operating-model transformations.Experience managing cross-functional teams, Product Owners, vendors, and outsourced services.Strong knowledge of OT security, endpoint security, cloud security, SOC operations, incident response, vulnerability management, IAM, and SIEM.Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and risk-based decision-making skills.Experience working in complex, global organisations.CISSP, CISM, CRISC, ITIL, SABSA, Microsoft Security, or GIAC certifications are desirable.
