Data Engineer

Python Data Engineer Location: Gothenburg, Sweden Work Mode: Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite Position OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Python Data Engineer with strong expertise in Python development, CI/CD, cloud technologies, containerisation, and modern data engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable data pipelines, developing robust workflows, integrating databases and APIs, and working with large datasets. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and data workflows using Python.Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD.Work with Git/Gerrit for version control and collaborative software development.Build and maintain containerised applications and data solutions using Docker.Develop modern data pipelines using platforms and tools such as Databricks and Apache Airflow.Design technical solutions independently, improve existing datasets and optimise data workflows.Develop database interfaces and work extensively with SQL and large datasets.Build data visualisations and dashboards using Power BI.Develop and manage APIs and API integrations.Work with Microsoft Azure cloud services to build and support data solutions.Work with Snowflake for cloud data warehousing and data management.Contribute to test programme development, automation and quality assurance activities. Mandatory SkillsStrong Python development experience.Git / Gerrit and version control.CI/CD – Jenkins, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD.Docker / Containerisation.Databricks and/or Apache Airflow.Strong SQL and database integration skills.Experience handling large datasets and data pipelines.Azure Cloud experience.Experience with Snowflake.Power BI / Data Visualisation.Strong system design and programming skills. Nice to HaveAPI management and integration experience.Automated testing / test programme development.Experience designing scalable and robust data engineering solutions.Experience working in modern Agile/DevOps environments.
