Project Manager - Data Migration Vasteras, SwedenEmployment: B2B/Freelance ContractDuration: 06 Months (Extendable) Job description: Project ManagementDefine and own the end-to-end project plan for historical data migration, including scope, timeline, milestones, risks, and resources.Drive project governance: organize regular status meetings, manage RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), and report progress to senior stakeholders.Ensure timely delivery of project phases within agreed scope and budget.Manage dependencies across multiple workstreams including ERP, CRM, and data engineering teams.Facilitate change management and communication plans for affected teams and stakeholders.Coordinate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and sign-off processes with Business Process Owners.Business AnalysisCollaborate with ERP teams, M&A teams, and Business Process Owners to define and document the scope of data extraction from SAP, Salesforce, and other source systems.Elicit, analyse, and document business and functional requirements for data migration.Map source data structures to target Snowflake data models, identifying data gaps and transformation rules.Perform data profiling and quality assessments to identify data cleansing needs.Define data validation and acceptance criteria to ensure integrity of migrated data.Support data lineage documentation and compliance requirements.Stakeholder CollaborationAct as the primary point of contact between technical teams (data engineers, cloud architects) and business stakeholders.Engage with ERP teams to extract and validate SAP historical data.Partner with M&A teams to understand business context and data history related to acquisitions.Work closely with Business Process Owners to prioritize and validate data requirements.Support cross-functional alignment to ensure consistent data definitions and standards.
