DB Engineer / DevOps Engineer — PostgreSQL, Azure 100% Remote | 6-Month Contract Our client, a global technology and engineering organisation, is looking for a DB Engineer/DevOps Engineer to join a fast-paced cloud infrastructure team on a 6-month contract basis. This is a fully remote position. Role OverviewYou'll take ownership of database engineering and DevOps practices across a cloud-native environment, with a particular focus on PostgreSQL performance, reliability, and automation within Azure. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, manage, and optimise PostgreSQL databases in production environmentsBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation on AzureManage containerised workloads using KubernetesImplement and maintain infrastructure-as-code using TerraformMonitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement tuning improvementsCollaborate with engineering teams to ensure secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructureSupport deployment processes and drive infrastructure automation best practices RequirementsProven experience as a DB Engineer and/or DevOps EngineerStrong hands-on expertise with PostgreSQL (administration, optimisation, troubleshooting)Solid experience with Microsoft Azure (cloud infrastructure, deployment, and management)Experience with Kubernetes and TerraformFamiliarity with CI/CD tooling and infrastructure-as-code practicesComfortable working independently in a fully remote setup Contract DetailsDuration: 6 months (initial)Location: 100% RemoteEngagement type: Contract
