Greetings We are Hiring Platform / DevOps Engineer in Europe Rates 40 Euros/Hour Contract 4+ Months Complete Remote work Platform / DevOps Engineer (2 FTE) Role Summary Technical implementation role focused on building, automating, operating, and scaling the Renovate platform across a very large GitLab landscape. Key Responsibilities: Implement and deploy the self-hosted Renovate environmentBuild automated repository discovery and onboarding processes via GitLab APIsCreate and maintain central configuration presets and repository-level extensionsImplement monitoring, logging, alerting, and reporting dashboardsOptimize performance, scalability, caching, and rate-limit handlingIntegrate artifact repositories and secure credential storesProduce operational documentation and support development teams during rolloutEnsure stable operation across thousands of repositories Required Skills: Proven experience as DevOps, Platform, or Automation EngineerStrong GitLab CI/CD and GitLab API expertiseHands-on experience with Kubernetes and container platformsInfrastructure-as-Code knowledge (e.g. OpenTofu, Helm)Scripting/programming skills (Bash, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript)Experience with observability platforms, ideally New RelicKnowledge of Vault, secrets management, and package/container registriesPractical Renovate experienceStrong automation mindset and independent working style
