We are looking for an experienced sales leader to develop Grownsy's European distribution network, establish strong local partnerships, and expand the brand into leading retail channels across the region.About the RoleAs the Director, Sales & Channel Development – Europe at Grownsy, you will be responsible for driving Grownsy's European market expansion through distributor development and retail channel growth.You will lead the full business development process — from identifying and qualifying potential distributors, initiating partnerships and negotiating commercial terms, to developing long-term distributor relationships and supporting their expansion into leading local retailers.This is a highly entrepreneurial, high-impact role for a senior international sales leader who combines a strong "hunter" mindset for new business development with the ability to build and manage long-term strategic partnerships.You will report directly to executive leadership and collaborate closely with global teams across sales, marketing, product, logistics, supply chain, and operations to accelerate Grownsy's growth across Europe.What You Will DoDevelop and execute Grownsy's European sales and channel expansion strategy, with a primary focus on distributor-led markets.Identify, evaluate, and acquire high-quality distributors across key European markets, including Germany, France, the UK, Italy, Spain, and other strategic markets.Build and continuously expand Grownsy's European distributor network, prioritizing partners with strong market coverage, retail relationships, sales capabilities, and established baby/consumer product expertise.Lead the full distributor acquisition cycle, including market mapping, prospecting, qualification, business negotiations, commercial terms, distribution agreements, and onboarding.Build and maintain strong relationships with distributor owners, managing directors, sales directors, key account teams, and other senior decision-makers.Work closely with distributors to develop market entry and growth plans, including assortment, pricing, sales targets, channel strategy, marketing support, inventory planning, and launch plans.Drive distributors to develop leading retail accounts and expand Grownsy's presence in major European retailers and specialty channels, such as Carrefour, babyOne, MediaMarkt, and other leading national or regional retailers.Support distributors in securing new retail listings, buyer meetings, product launches, promotional programs, and long-term retail partnerships.Identify opportunities to strengthen Grownsy's offline retail presence and brand visibility across European markets.Monitor distributor performance, including sales, inventory, sell-through, forecast accuracy, channel development, and retail expansion, and proactively develop action plans to improve performance.Establish regular business reviews and performance management mechanisms with key distributors, including sales targets, forecasts, pipeline reviews, and annual business plans.Lead commercial negotiations with distributors, including pricing, margins, payment terms, marketing support, sales targets, exclusivity, territory, and annual business commitments.Collaborate closely with internal teams across marketing, product, e-commerce, logistics, supply chain, and operations to ensure successful product launches and sustainable market growth.Monitor European market trends, competitive dynamics, retailer developments, consumer trends, and distributor landscape changes to identify new business opportunities.Provide regular sales updates, market insights, distributor performance reports, and strategic recommendations to company leadership.Who You Are5+ years of progressive experience in international sales, distributor management, channel development, national accounts, or business development, preferably within baby/juvenile products, consumer electronics, CPG, or consumer goods.Proven track record of developing distributors and building distribution networks across European markets.Strong understanding of the European baby, consumer products, retail, and distribution landscape.Existing relationships with distributors, importers, retailers, buyers, or key decision-makers across major European markets are highly preferred.Experience working with or developing business with leading European retailers such as Carrefour, babyOne, MediaMarkt, Amazon, specialty baby retailers, department stores, or comparable retail groups is strongly preferred.Demonstrated success in new business development, with a strong "hunter" mindset and the ability to identify, approach, qualify, and convert new distributor and retail opportunities.Strong experience in distributor management and strategic account development, with the ability to build long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.Strong commercial and financial acumen, including pricing, distributor margins, sales forecasting, P&L, inventory, and channel profitability.Able to assess distributor quality and potential based on market coverage, retail relationships, sales capabilities, financial strength, team structure, and growth potential.Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.Highly collaborative and comfortable working across European markets and global cross-functional teams.Entrepreneurial and self-driven, with the ability to work independently, build markets from the ground up, and thrive in a fast-paced global company.Willingness to travel regularly across Europe for distributor meetings, retailer meetings, trade shows, and business development activities.Fluent English is required; additional European languages such as German, French, Italian, or Spanish are a strong plus.Compensation & BenefitsSalary: USD 100,000 – 150,000 per year, depending on experience, location, and scope of responsibility.
