We are looking for an Engineering & Operations Manager Are you good at creating structure when 15 things need to happen at the same time?Then we might need to talk. At ETSS, we design and build customized testing systems for industrial production. Our projects bring together mechanics, electrical engineering, automation, software, production, assembly and commissioning into complete turnkey solutions. As we continue to grow, coordinating all these moving parts becomes increasingly important.That is why we are looking for an:Engineering & Operations ManagerYour mission? Own the execution. Make sure projects move forward. Make sure engineering knows what to prioritize. Make sure production has what it needs. Make sure resources are used where they matter most. Identify risks before they become problems. And ultimately, make sure we deliver what we have promised to our customers. Your responsibilities will include:Project portfolio, schedules, milestones and risk managementResource and capacity planningPrioritization of mechanical and electrical engineering workCustomer follow-up throughout project executionProject status, capacity needs, deviations and risk reporting to the COO*Be ready to step in and support both mechanical and electrical engineering when needed. As a small and growing company, being hands-on when things get busy is part of the role. Who are we looking for?You probably have a strong technical background and experience in, for example, industrial automation, machine building, test systems, manufacturing or customer-specific engineering projects. The following will help you shine in the role:Experience in managing technical projectsUnderstanding of mechanical and/or electrical engineeringExperience in resource and capacity planningA practical and solution-oriented mindsetThe ability to see the big picture without losing sight of the detailsExperience with EPLAN or similar electrical engineering tools and 3D CAD You don't have to be the best at everything. But you should be the person who sees the whole picture, is comfortable setting priorities, and makes sure things actually get done.
