About the role In this role, you will act as a sub-project leader driving the development of the Product Portfolio structure within a Teamcenter PLM environment, effectively bridging the gap between mechanical/materials engineering and IT architecture for a key global business line specializing in industrial pump technology. Working closely with the Engineering Methods Manager, you will take ownership of exploring system functionalities, gathering requirements from product owners, and collaborating with global IT architects to define and set a new standard for product data. You are offeredWe offer a role with direct influence over long-term system processes and structures within a leading global industrial group, combined with a flexible part-time schedule of approximately two days per week over six to eight months. Following an initial onboarding phase on-site in Sala to establish your network, you will transition into a flexible hybrid work model. Work tasks This role focuses on driving technical structuring projects, coordinating with global architects, and exploring PLM system functionalities to improve product portfolio management. Drive the development of the Product Portfolio within Teamcenter. Explore system functionalities and identify dependencies with other platforms. Define a scope and structure that meets global technical requirements. Collaborate with global PLM and IT architects to align technical solutions. Engage with internal stakeholders to gather and refine project requirements. Coordinate with various Business Line representatives to ensure alignment. Develop and present proposals for new product data structures.

We are looking for A student pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Engineering Physics, or a related field, with at least 1 year remaining of your studies. A strong interest in the intersection of engineering, IT systems, and architecture. Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of CAD or product data structures. Skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

It is meritorious if you have Good knowledge of Swedish. Previous experience with Teamcenter, SAP, or other PDM/ERP systems.
