Role Description The Engineering Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Kalix kommun, responsible for leading day-to-day engineering operations and supervising a multidisciplinary team. This role oversees maintenance and repair activities, coordinates construction-related engineering work, and ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. The Engineering Supervisor plans and assigns tasks, monitors progress, and provides technical guidance and support to team members. Daily responsibilities include reviewing work orders, resolving technical issues, optimizing workflows, and collaborating with other departments and external partners. The role also involves maintaining compliance with relevant standards and regulations, preparing reports, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and maintenance functions. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, performance oversight, and staff development.Candidates should possess Engineering Management capabilities, such as resource planning, technical decision-making, and process optimization.Candidates should possess Project Management skills, including scheduling, coordination of tasks, risk management, and stakeholder communication.Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair expertise, with experience in diagnosing issues, implementing repairs, and ensuring equipment reliability.Candidates should possess Construction-related knowledge, including familiarity with construction methods, site coordination, and safety practices.Relevant engineering degree or technical qualification, or equivalent practical experience in an industrial, infrastructure, or construction environment.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements, with strong attention to detail.Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site and coordinate with cross-functional teams and external contractors.Demonstrated focus on workplace safety, quality standards, and continuous improvement in engineering and maintenance operations.
