Regional EHS Manager – Sweden€95,000–€110,000 + Benefits | Major Engineering & Construction ProjectsAn opportunity has opened for an experienced Regional EHS Manager to take responsibility for Environmental, Health & Safety performance across a portfolio of major engineering and construction projects in Sweden.You’ll join a well-established international engineering contractor delivering complex projects across Europe, taking a senior regional position with genuine influence over how safety is managed across multiple sites.This isn't simply a site-based safety position. You'll lead EHS teams, work directly with senior operational management and help drive safety strategy, standards and culture across the Swedish operation.The RoleYou’ll take regional responsibility for EHS performance across multiple projects, including:Leading and supporting EHS teams across SwedenDriving a strong, proactive safety culture across project teams and subcontractorsMonitoring EHS performance, KPIs, audits and complianceEnsuring consistent implementation of the company EHS Management SystemLeading serious incident investigations and corrective actionsConducting regional audits and site inspectionsAdvising Project Directors, Project Managers and operational leadershipDeveloping safety initiatives, training and improvement programmesSupporting tenders, client meetings and prequalification submissionsLiaising with clients, contractors, regulatory authorities and other key stakeholdersEnsuring compliance with Swedish and applicable European EHS legislationWhat We're Looking ForYou'll ideally have:10+ years' EHS experience within construction, engineering, electrical, mechanical or major infrastructure projectsPrevious experience at Senior EHS Manager, EHS Lead or Regional EHS Manager levelExperience overseeing multiple projects, sites or EHS teamsDegree/Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management or a related disciplineStrong knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001Experience leading audits, investigations and EHS management systemsStrong stakeholder management and leadership skillsIOSH or equivalent professional membership would be advantageousWillingness to travel between projects across SwedenWhat's On Offer€95,000–€110,000 salary, depending on experienceAdditional benefits/packageSenior regional leadership responsibilityExposure to major technically complex construction projectsOpportunity to influence EHS strategy across an expanding Swedish operationLong-term career opportunities within a major international engineering contractorThis would particularly suit an EHS professional who has already led safety on major construction or engineering projects and is ready to take broader responsibility across an entire region.Interested?
