In this role, the consultant designs, configures, and implements Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and analyzing client requirements, modeling financial and operational data, and translating business needs into robust EPM applications. The consultant collaborates with finance and IT stakeholders, prepares documentation, conducts system testing, and delivers user training and support to ensure successful adoption of solutions. The role also involves continuous improvement of implemented systems, advising clients on best practices, and contributing to internal knowledge sharing and solution development at HSolutions.QualificationsStrong foundation in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management, with the ability to translate business requirements into system designs.Experience with EPM platforms or related financial systems (e.g., consolidation tools, planning and analytics solutions) and understanding of data modeling and integration concepts.Skills in business analysis, requirements gathering, and process mapping to optimize finance and reporting workflows.Proficiency in data analytics and reporting, including comfort with spreadsheets, dashboards, and visualization tools.Ability to manage projects or workstreams, prioritize tasks, and deliver solutions on time in a consulting or client-facing environment.Clear written and verbal communication skills in Finnish and English language skills are an advantage.Collaborative working style, with the ability to build trust with clients and work effectively in cross-functional teams.Relevant academic background, such as a degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.Prior experience in management consulting, financial systems implementation, or business intelligence projects is highly beneficial.Willingness to learn new tools and methodologies and to contribute to the continuous improvement of HSolutions’ service offerings.
