Role Description The Financial Reporting Accountant / Business Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Gothenburg Metropolitan Area. In this role, the team member prepares and analyzes financial statements, supports monthly and quarterly financial reporting cycles, and ensures accuracy and compliance with relevant standards and internal policies. The position involves consolidating financial data from multiple entities, performing variance and trend analysis, and providing clear reports and insights to management. Daily activities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, improving reporting processes, supporting audits, and contributing to forecasting and budgeting activities. The role also involves identifying opportunities to enhance data quality, streamline workflows, and support strategic decision-making with well-structured analytical outputs. Qualifications Strong proficiency in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, with attention to accuracy and compliance.Solid Finance knowledge and experience in Consolidation of financial data from multiple entities or business units.Demonstrated Analytical Skills for variance analysis, trend analysis, and translating data into actionable insights.Experience with accounting and ERP systems, advanced skills in spreadsheet and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, BI tools), and familiarity with reporting frameworks.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) are an advantage.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Clear written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization.Experience with process improvement, internal controls, or audit support is beneficial, as is prior work in an international or multi-entity setting.
