Fit-out/Architecture Reviewer - Free Lance

As part of a major cultural project, we are looking for a Fit-out/Architecture reviewer to join our technical team as a STAC (Specialist Technical Advisory Consultant). You will work closely with senior project manager and specialist review team, reviewing technical and shop drawings for the exhibition fit-out and coordinating approvals with project stakeholders via Aconex. Key ResponsibilitiesReview technical drawings and shop drawings for fit-out elements: general arrangement plans, lining and drywall partition systems, raised floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, and elevation/interface details.Review shop drawings and construction details for exhibit structures and casings (setworks), including their integration with the base building — structural interfaces, services routing, and coordination points between fit-out and base-build scope.Review finishes and proposed materials against approved design intent.Participate in technical coordination workshops and turn-page review meetings.Provide technical review comments within fast paced review cycle.Liaise and coordinate with contractors and other project stakeholders on shop drawing submittals.Technical Skills RequiredStrong background in interior design/architecture, with proven shop-drawing and finishes review experience.Good understanding of fit-out construction methods, materials, and exhibit/casework fabrication.Ability to read and assess base-build/fit-out interface drawings — identifying structural, services, and coordination conflicts between the two scopes.Familiarity with document management platforms such as Aconex.Candidate ProfileFit-out review experience is essential, ideally within museum, exhibition, or high-end retail/hospitality environments.Ability to work autonomously and liaise with multidisciplinary technical teams.English mandatory.
