We are looking for a Front-end Software Engineer (Remote) for a key client based in Brussels. Tasks (non-exhaustive list)Develop and maintain scalable, responsive front-end applications using modern frameworks, libraries and web standards.Build reusable, clean and modular code, including state management solutions for complex applications.Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and mock-ups into functional, high-fidelity interfaces.Apply security, performance and cross-browser compatibility best practices.Perform testing, debugging, troubleshooting and technical documentation to ensure functional and non-functional requirements are met. RequirementsMinimum 3.5 years of experience with HTML5, CSS3, ES6, CSS3 and SASS.Minimum 3.5 years of experience with Angular (v14+), Bootstrap and TypeScript, including build tooling (Angular CLI, Webpack, Vite).Minimum 3.5 years of experience building complex, modular client-side applications using modern frameworks, Web Components, and state management patterns.Minimum 3.5 years of experience in Web security, authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth, Open ID Connect).Minimum 3.5 years of experience with development and DevSecOps tooling, including version control (Git), issue tracking (JIRA), collaboration (Confluence), and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bamboo).Minimum 3.5 years of experience with REST APIs and with tools for web services testing (Postman, ReadyAPI).Experience with using client-side monitoring tools such as Dynatrace Real User Monitoring and Azure Application Insights.Experience with responsive and adaptive design.Experience with leveraging Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) like Cloudflare or AWS CloudFront to optimize asset delivery and improve application performance.Understanding of key design principles and SEO principles.Knowledge of accessibility standards.Proficiency in at least one modern front-end framework (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular) and its core principles.Knowledge of front-end testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Jest, Karma, Cypress) for unit and integration testing.Experience in Redux architecture is a plus. CertificatesA relevant technical certification from a recognised vendor, such as Microsoft or Adobe, is considered an asset.
