Team members join a mission-driven environment that values empowerment, collaboration, and long-term impact.Role Description The Youth Worker at Wendi will support young people through remote mentoring, guidance, and program facilitation, helping them build confidence, skills, and leadership capacity. In this full-time remote role, the Youth Worker will coordinate and deliver youth-focused activities, workshops, and virtual sessions aligned with Wendi’s education, skills development, and empowerment initiatives. Responsibilities include maintaining regular communication with youth participants, assessing their needs, and creating individualized support plans in collaboration with the wider program team. The Youth Worker will also document participant progress, prepare reports, and contribute insights to improve youth programs and community engagement strategies. This role involves close collaboration with colleagues, partners, and communities to ensure youth services are inclusive, safe, and impactful.Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Youth Work and Youth Services to design, coordinate, and deliver effective youth-focused programs.Candidates should possess skills in Social Work and Youth Mentoring to provide appropriate support, guidance, and referrals for young people.Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to engage youth, collaborate with stakeholders, and prepare clear reports and program materials.Experience working with diverse youth populations, including those in underserved communities, is highly beneficial.Knowledge of community development, education, or leadership training programs is an advantage.Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and use digital tools for communication and program delivery.A relevant diploma or degree in Social Work, Community Development, Education, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
