Role Description The General Partner at IAVM is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Stockholm. This position is responsible for overseeing investment strategies, managing portfolio performance, and guiding long-term value creation for the firm and its stakeholders. The General Partner will lead deal sourcing, conduct due diligence, negotiate terms, and structure investments in alignment with IAVM’s objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with other partners, mentoring team members, building relationships with investors and portfolio companies, and representing the firm at industry events and meetings. The role also involves monitoring market trends, ensuring adherence to regulatory and governance standards, and contributing to overall firm strategy and operations. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in investment management, private equity, venture capital, or related fields, with a strong track record of leading deals and managing portfolios.Advanced financial acumen, including proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, risk assessment, and capital allocation.Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience mentoring teams and collaborating effectively across senior stakeholder groups.Excellent relationship-building and communication abilities, with proven capability in investor relations, negotiation, and partnership development.Strategic thinking and analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions in complex, dynamic environments.Deep understanding of corporate governance, compliance, and relevant legal frameworks within the investment domain.Ability to work on-site in Stockholm and engage regularly with local and international partners and clients.Relevant academic background, such as a degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field; advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., MBA, CFA) are an advantage.Strong ethical judgment, integrity, and commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory leadership and organizational practices.
