Role Description

This is a contract role for a Junior Geologist. The candidate will be responsible for tasks such as conducting fieldwork, geological mapping, drill core logging, assisting in drilling operations, and performing geophysical surveys. The role involves both on site and office based responsibilities. This is a hybrid position based in Uppsala, with some flexibility for remote work alongside field related duties.

Experience in Field Work and Geological Mapping Proficiency in Core Logging and Drilling activities Knowledge of Geophysics and its application in exploration projects Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills Ability to work in remote locations and adapt to diverse working environments Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field Familiarity with industry standard geological software is a plus Strong communication and team collaboration skills
