Global Strategic Portfolio Evaluation BI & CI Manager Company: Menarini GroupLocation: Florence, Italy / RemoteTeam: Global Portfolio Evaluation StrategyReporting to: Global Portfolio Evaluation Strategy BI & CI Lead Position SummaryMenarini is seeking a senior professional to join the Global Portfolio Evaluation Strategy team in a high-impact role.In this role, you will leverage your 8+ years of experience to consistently support strategic commercial assessments. Working under the supervision of the BI & CI Lead, you will lead P&L definition, strategic forecasting, data analysis, and competitive intelligence activities, ensuring that the inputs fueling our global business cases are robust, realistic, and grounded in Regional dynamics. Key ResponsibilitiesP&L Definition & "Reality Check": Support P&L modeling and asset valuations for licensing and internal portfolio opportunities. Integrate clinical Probability of Success (PoS) and risk-adjusted metrics across key geographies (EU5, US, China, Japan). Perform the critical "reality check" by coordinating with regional teams to pressure-test commercial assumptions against local execution capabilities.Strategic Forecasting & Data Leadership: Manage epidemiological and volume-driven forecasting models for assets ranging from early-stage to marketed products. Own data extraction, validation, and target patient population sizing to translate raw clinical and market data into actionable commercial metrics that support internal "Go/No-Go" decisions.Competitive Intelligence & External Vendor Management: Lead complex competitive landscape assessments, tracking clinical trial readouts, competitor promotional strategies, and secondary market data (IQVIA MIDAS, GlobalData, DRG). Oversee external vendor management, directing consulting agencies and market research partners to execute ad-hoc primary research and Key Opinion Leader projects efficiently. The Ideal Candidate Experience & BackgroundSeniority: 8+ years of total experience in Marketing, Analytical or Competitive Intelligence roles within the pharmaceutical industry.Operational & Market Context: A strong background in affiliate operations is a strong plus. This may be demonstrated through direct experience in an affiliate or through Global/Regional roles with deep exposure to local market mechanics. The ideal candidate must understand "on-the-ground" commercial challenges to effectively validate corporate strategy. Technical Skills & EducationEducation: Advanced Degree in Sciences or Economics. A strong scientific or analytical background is required to interpret complex therapeutic areas. MBA is considered a plus.Analytical & Commercial Balance: We are looking for a candidate who possesses strong analytical abilities OR strong Competitive Intelligence skills combined with commercial acumen. While technical mastery of data is valued, the ability to derive strategic meaning from competitive landscapes is equally critical.Data Tools: Familiarity with IQVIA MIDAS (retail and hospital) is valuable but not mandatory. Experience with GlobalData, Decision Resources Group, Cortellis and qualitative/quantitative research methodologies is a plus.Financial Acumen: Strong capability in financial modeling and P&L component analysis. Soft SkillsCommercial Acumen: Ability to translate technical data into commercial language.Collaborative Spirit: A team player who can work independently on analysis while supporting the broader strategic goals of the Global Portfolio Evaluation Strategy team.Communication: Excellent proficiency in English (written and oral) with the ability to present complex data simply.
