Head of European Gas Trading

Our client, a global commodity trading house, is seeking a Head of European Gas to join their Hong Kong desk. This is a risk taking role covering the TTF and the broader European gas market. Head of European Gas Trading Responsibilities: Own and lead the European natural gas trading strategy, trading TTF and broader continental gas markets with full P&L accountabilityManage a proprietary/flow gas book across futures, options, and OTC/broker marketsBuild and express views on European gas fundamentals including LNG flows, storage, weather, pipeline capacityCoordinate with London/European desks for handover and 24-hour book coverageIdentify and execute on cross-market arbitrage opportunities (TTF vs. Asian LNG, JKM, etc.) Requirements: 5–10 years trading experience in a proprietary trading environmentDemonstrated, consistent P&L track record managing a TTF book.Experience trading TTF or adjacent European gas hubs strongly preferredComfort with both futures and options, ideally with some LNG/global gas exposure
