Senior Global Privacy Counsel / Head of Privacy (Remote)A leading international organisation is looking for an experienced Privacy leader to help shape and evolve its global data protection programme. Working closely with senior executives, you will play a key role in privacy strategy, governance, compliance, and risk management across multiple jurisdictions.Key areas of responsibility include:Supporting and enhancing a global privacy framework, policies, and governance standardsAdvising senior stakeholders on privacy, data protection, and emerging regulatory developmentsOverseeing privacy compliance across international markets, including GDPR, UK GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA and other major regulatory regimesLeading privacy risk assessments, data transfer compliance, incident response, and regulatory engagementPartnering with Legal, Compliance, Security, HR, R&D, and Commercial teams to embed privacy-by-design across the businessProviding guidance on data-driven initiatives, digital products, analytics, AI governance, and sensitive health or clinical dataManaging third-party privacy risk, contractual data protection provisions, and supplier due diligenceDriving privacy awareness, training, and a culture of responsible data useAbout You12+ years' experience in privacy, data protection, compliance, legal, or riskStrong knowledge of global privacy laws and international data governanceTrack record of building or leading privacy programmes in complex, multinational organisationsExperience within highly regulated sectors such as life sciences, healthcare, technology, or biotech is advantageousPrivacy certifications (CIPP, CIPM, CIPT or equivalent) preferredStrong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadershipInitial contract 3 months, potential to extendLocation: Fully RemoteAn excellent opportunity for a senior privacy professional looking to make a strategic impact within a global and highly collaborative environment.
