PE Global are delighted to be partnering with Europe’s only dedicated data centre delivery partner, offering full turnkey solutions from design through to construction and commissioning. Headquartered in Dublin, they deliver projects across Europe and have become the most trusted name in our sector. We currently have requirements for an EHS Advisor to join their expanding team in Finland, locations include Helsinki and Vaasa. You will be based on one project only, not moving between multiple sites. Please specify your preference of location. This role will be responsible for supporting the implementation of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) practices on site, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting a strong safety culture across the project. This is a full time permanent position operating on a shift rotational roster with all flights, accommodation, transport + a weekly NET subsistence income all completely covered. Please note, candidates must have a valid EU/UK Passport or have the appropriate working visa. There is no visa sponsorship or relocation assistance on offer. RequirementsSupport the implementation of Environmental, Health & Safety policies and procedures across the project lifecycleConduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health & safety standards and identify potential hazardsAssist in carrying out risk assessments and reviewing method statements (RAMS)Monitor subcontractor activities to ensure adherence to safety requirementsSupport incident investigations and assist in the implementation of corrective actionsPromote a strong safety culture through engagement with site teams and subcontractorsDeliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions as requiredEnsure all EHS documentation is maintained, accurate, and up to dateAttend Site Meetings, Safety Meetings, and Toolbox TalksSupport the preparation of EHS reports and safety performance metricsAdvise project teams on health & safety best practices and compliance requirementsAssist in ensuring compliance with environmental and sustainability requirementsIdentify and report EHS concerns and support their resolution Skills & QualificationsDegree or diploma in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, or similar disciplineMinimum 2–5 years’ experience in an EHS role within construction or engineeringGood knowledge of health & safety legislation, standards, and best practicesExperience supporting EHS activities on construction sitesStrong organisational and communication skillsAbility to engage with site teams and promote safe working practicesStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsRelevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent) are desirableData centre, industrial, or mission-critical project experience is advantageous BenefitsOpportunity to work for a market leader in the Data centre industryWorking on large scale data centre projectsCollaborative team working environmentsCareer progression and development supportedCompetitive salary packages
