Bonalive is an ISO 13485:2016 certified, Class III medical device company, headquartered in Turku, Finland. www.bonalive.com As part of our continued growth, we are looking for two experienced Indication Managers to join our commercial organization: Indication Manager, SpineIndication Manager, Orthopedics These are highly visible international roles with responsibility for developing and executing indication-specific strategy, clinical programs, expert networks, training activities, and commercial growth initiatives across selected markets. Your mission You will own and drive the development of your indication area, acting as the key link between surgeons, distributors, sales teams, marketing, clinical affairs, regulatory affairs, quality, and product development. You will help shape how Bonalive's bioactive glass technology is positioned, adopted, and expanded within your surgical specialty. Key responsibilitiesIndication strategy and market developmentDevelop and execute the annual indication plan and contribute to long-term strategyIdentify growth opportunities, target markets, and priority customer segmentsDevelop indication-specific positioning and competitive strategiesMonitor market trends, competitor activities, reimbursement developments, and healthcare dynamicsSupport indication expansion opportunities within your surgical specialty Clinical evidence and clinical programsFollow and evaluate the latest clinical evidence relevant to your indicationCoordinate and drive indication-specific clinical programsSupport and coordinate clinical studies and evidence generation activitiesTranslate clinical evidence into meaningful customer value propositions and commercial messagesProvide scientific input for marketing and educational materials KOL and expert community developmentBuild and maintain relationships with leading surgeons, key opinion leaders (KOLs), TOP customer reference centers and key clinical advocates.Develop and manage indication-specific ambassador networksOrganize advisory board and expert meetings, and educational activitiesDevelop and strengthen indication-specific clinical and professional communitiesSupport development of Centers of Excellence and reference centers Commercial support and sales enablementAct as the indication expert for distributors and our internal commercial teamsDevelop and deliver distributor training programsSupport the creation of indication-specific training materials and sales toolsEvaluate and recommend indication-specific congresses, events, and educational activitiesSupport customer meetings, congresses, workshops, and educational eventsProvide expertise in market access, purchasing processes, and reimbursement discussions Product, innovation and quality supportProvide indication-specific market, innovation, and product design inputSupport development of surgical techniques together with leading surgeonsIdentify unmet clinical needs and opportunities for indication expansionSupport regulatory and quality activities with indication-specific expertiseEnsure consistency and scientific accuracy of indication-specific communication What we are looking for We are looking for commercially driven medical device professionals who combine strong indication expertise with the ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and drive market adoption. The ideal candidate enjoys spending time in the field with surgeons, distributors, and healthcare stakeholders, building expert networks and driving market development. They combine strong indication expertise with a practical understanding of how surgical technologies are adopted, purchased, reimbursed, and successfully commercialized in hospital environments. Preferred backgroundSignificant experience (5years minimum) in medical device sales, product management, indication management, business development, market development, or commercial leadership rolesStrong expertise in either Orthopedics &Trauma or SpineExperience working with surgeons, hospitals, and healthcare professionalsExperience from international and distributor-driven marketsUnderstanding of operating room workflows, hospital purchasing processes, and reimbursement systemsExperience developing KOL networks and supporting clinical adoption of medical technologiesExperience working with biomaterials, bone graft substitutes, orthobiologics, implants, spine technologies, trauma products, or related surgical solutions is considered a strong advantage Personal qualitiesCommercially minded and customer-focusedStrong relationship builder and communicatorComfortable operating in an international environmentStrategic thinker with hands-on execution capabilitySelf-driven, proactive, and willing to travel extensivelyPassionate about advancing patient care through innovative medical technologies
