Role Description The Intermediate MEP Quantity Surveyor is a full-time, on-site role based in Helsinki, responsible for overseeing cost management activities for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works on complex engineering projects. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and managing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), tracking project costs, supporting cost planning, and contributing to cost reporting for project stakeholders. The role involves working closely with project managers, engineers, and commissioning teams to ensure accurate measurement, valuation, and forecasting of MEP-related costs. The Intermediate MEP Quantity Surveyor will participate in tender review, variation assessment, and contract administration, helping to maintain budget control and support informed commercial decisions. The position requires proactive communication, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in a technical, fast-paced project environment. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Cost Control and Cost Management for MEP-related works.Candidates should possess experience in preparing and managing BOQ for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.Candidates should possess capabilities in Cost Planning and Cost Reporting to support accurate forecasting and stakeholder communication.Relevant academic background in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline.Experience in MEP quantity surveying on construction or data center, pharmaceutical, or energy projects is beneficial.Proficiency with cost management software and MS Excel, with strong numerical and analytical skills.Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional European language skills are an advantage.All training will be provided to Intelli-Eng
