Company Description: Nordic Consulting Group-NCG Sweden is a consultancy company working within international development cooperation. Based in Stockholm, NCG Sweden is part of the Nordic Consulting Group with a sister company in Denmark and presence in Norway. We specialise in providing advisory services, assessments, analyses, capacity building, methods development, results-based management, evaluations and more. Our thematic expertise encompasses gender equality, equal opportunity, economic empowerment, human rights, democracy, anti-corruption, environment and climate change, peace and security, and more. We work closely with Sida, Norad, Swedish authorities, EU and UN organisations, as well as private and civil society actors within Sweden and abroad. Role Description:As an Intern for Spring 2027 at NCG Sweden, you will support us with ongoing consulting assignments and organisational work. As is the nature of consultancy, your weekly tasks can vary and may range from conducting analyses and desk research, analysing data, participating in meetings/ workshops, preparing reports/ presentations/ other documentation, to contributing to proposals/ tenders, communication and outreach, etc. This is an internship role, based on-site in Stockholm, where you will work closely with our experienced in-house partners/ consultants. NCG offers an interactive working environment where the intern can gain practical experience related to international development cooperation in a consultancy context.The internship is full-time (40 hours/week) at our office in Bromma, Stockholm.This is an unpaid internship. However, NCG will provide the intern with an SL travel card. The intern will be involved in various aspects, including research, report writing, proposal development, communication, and administration.There are opportunities for the intern to join international assignments and contribute to NCG’s projects.The intern will work in a flexible, small organisation with a flat hierarchy and room for initiative. We are looking for an Intern who has:Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Swedish or other languages is an advantage.Demonstrated interest and knowledge in international development, gender equality or related topics.Digital competence and basic proficiency with standard office and collaboration tools. Strong analytical and research skills, with ability to synthesise information from diverse sources; comfort working with data (qualitative and/or quantitative)Ability to work in a structured, proactive, and detail-oriented manner in a multicultural team environment.Ongoing or recently completed studies in political science, economics, sociology, international relations, development studies, or a related field.A curious, flexible, and results-driven mindset How to Apply:Send your CV and a short motivational letter to [email protected] (attn.
