Investment Director

We are partnering with an established investment firm to appoint an Investment Director to join its investment team in Stockholm or Oslo. This is an opportunity to take on a senior role within a growing investment platform, leading transactions from origination through execution while working closely with management teams, financial sponsors and advisers across a broad range of investment opportunities. Key Responsibilities Lead the evaluation and execution of new investment opportunities from initial screening through closing.Perform detailed financial, commercial and risk analysis to support investment decisions.Build, review and challenge complex financial models and transaction structures.Prepare and present investment recommendations to internal decision-makers.Lead due diligence processes and coordinate external advisers.Negotiate transaction documentation alongside legal and financial advisers.Monitor portfolio investments and support strategic initiatives where appropriate.Build and maintain relationships with financial sponsors, advisers and other market participants.Mentor junior members of the investment team and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing culture. Candidate Profile We are interested in professionals with approximately 8 to 12 years of relevant experience gained within: Direct Lending / Private CreditPrivate EquityLeveraged FinanceInvestment Banking (Leveraged Finance or Acquisition Finance)or another relevant investment environment. Successful candidates will demonstrate: Strong transaction execution experience across debt and/or equity investments.Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills.Experience working on sponsor-backed transactions.Commercial judgement and strong decision-making ability.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.The ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Fluency in English; a Nordic language is advantageous but not essential.
