IT Coordinator - Luleå

Our client within the construction industry is looking for an experienced IT Coordinator to support ongoing operations and project activities across Northern Sweden. The consultant will play a key role in establishing and supporting offices and construction sites, ensuring that IT infrastructure, workplace services, and end-user support are delivered efficiently and according to established service processes.

The assignment combines site establishment, local IT coordination, on-site support, and 2nd line support responsibilities, requiring a hands-on consultant who enjoys working close to the business in a dynamic project environment.

Start Date: 15 October 2026

End Date: 31 March 2027

Location: Luleå and other project sites across Northern Sweden

Workload: 50–100% (by agreement)

Key Responsibilities

Site Setup & Infrastructure Coordination

Coordinate the establishment of new offices and construction sites within the assigned geographical area.Plan and coordinate WAN/LAN connectivity, printers, workplace solutions, telephony, and other local IT services.Manage supplier contacts and coordinate installations and configurations.Support the complete lifecycle management of construction sites and office locations.Act as a key resource within the Site Setup service.Maintain and update site configuration information and configuration items (CIs).

On-Site IT Support

Provide local IT support to business users according to established service management processes.Support construction sites and local offices throughout the assigned region.Coordinate local service deliveries and act as a super-user for designated services and components.Provide guidance, recommendations, and best practices regarding workplace technology and IT services.Deliver hands-on support for:Workplace and end-user servicesNetwork servicesOffice solutionsTelephony servicesLocal IT infrastructure 2nd Line Support

Act as 2nd line support for incidents and service requests within assigned services.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues escalated from first-line support.Collaborate with specialist teams and service providers when required.Contribute to continuous improvements of support processes and service quality.

Required Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience within IT support, infrastructure, or technical operations.Experience working in IT support and service delivery environments.Participation in one or more similar assignments involving site setup or on-site IT coordination.Ability to independently manage and drive assigned tasks and responsibilities.Relevant education within IT or a related field.

Required Knowledge & Skills

Broad understanding of general IT infrastructure and workplace services.Knowledge of ITIL-based service management processes.Experience working with ServiceNow.Good understanding of end-user support, networking, workplace services, and IT operations.Strong coordination and problem-solving capabilities.

Language Requirements

Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

Mandatory Requirements

Experience supporting large-scale construction, industrial, or infrastructure projects.Experience coordinating IT deliveries across multiple sites.Hands-on experience with workplace services, networking, and local IT infrastructure in distributed environments.
