Job DescriptionWe are looking for a commercially driven Key Account Director professional to join our team in Finland. In this role, you will lead the commercial agenda for assigned areas of the account, build trusted customer relationships, identify and shape new opportunities, and connect customer needs with Cyient capabilities across engineering, technical documentation, lifecycle, data, digital and technology services. You will play a central role in converting individual opportunities into scalable, long-term customer programs with clear business value.ResponsibilitiesDrive sustainable account growth by developing and executing growth plans, expanding established business, creating new opportunities and converting customer priorities into measurable sales results.Own and develop key customer relationships, stakeholder maps and engagement plans within the assigned business area.Understand customer priorities, buying centres and decision paths, and translate these into focused account actions and opportunities.Identify, qualify and progress opportunities from early discovery through workshops, RFQs, proposals, negotiations and contract closure.Coordinate cross-functional solution development by bringing together relevant engineering, product, technical documentation, lifecycle, data, digital and technology capabilities.Develop customer-backed business cases, value propositions and commercial models for projects, managed services and multi-year programs.Prepare and coordinate proposals, pricing, scope definitions and internal approvals in collaboration with delivery, finance, legal and capability teams.Maintain account plans, opportunity pipelines, forecasts, CRM information and clear next actions for priority pursuits.Protect commercial quality by ensuring margin discipline, realistic delivery assumptions, clear scope boundaries and appropriate contractual terms.Lead the sales-to-delivery handover and remain engaged in governance, customer satisfaction, change requests, renewals and expansion opportunities.Promote the complete Cyient portfolio in customer discussions and support cross-service collaboration across the wider account team.Contribute to common account disciplines, including pipeline reviews, stakeholder planning, coordinated customer messaging and explicit lead/support roles for pursuits.Represent Cyient credibly with customer executives, business leaders and technical specialists, simplifying complex subjects into clear commercial outcomes.RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, business, technology or a related field.Experience: Demonstrated experience of 15+ years in complex B2B services sales, key account management or business development, preferably within engineering, industrial, energy or marine sectors.Experience shaping opportunities from early customer discovery through proposal, negotiation and contract closure.Experience working with large, multi-stakeholder customer organizations and leading cross-functional teams without direct authority.Strong commercial understanding, including proposal development, pricing, margin management, contracting and forecasting.Ability to connect customer business needs with multidisciplinary service capabilities and build integrated value propositions.Excellent communication and presentation skills with fluency in written and spoken English; Finnish or Swedish is considered an advantage.Willingness to travel and maintain an active customer engagement rhythm as required.Skills RequiredKey Account Management, Business Development, Complex B2B Sales, Customer Relationship Management, Opportunity Management, Consultative Selling, Proposal Development, Commercial Negotiation, Account Planning, Stakeholder Management, Cross-functional Leadership, Engineering ServicesRole DescriptionActs as the account-level commercial lead for assigned customer business areas.
