🚀 AI / Machine Learning Engineer | Remote | $70,000–$100,000 We are working with a fast-growing financial technology company that's building AI-powered products used by banks, fintechs and trading platforms around the world. They're looking for an AI / Machine Learning Engineer who enjoys taking models from research into production and building scalable AI systems that deliver real business value. What you'll be doing You'll work across the full ML lifecycle, building production-grade AI solutions that transform real-time financial data into actionable insights. Projects include:Designing and deploying machine learning models for NLP, time-series forecasting and event detectionBuilding LLM-powered applications including RAG pipelines, semantic search and summarisationDeveloping scalable model serving APIs using Python and GoCreating monitoring, retraining and model evaluation pipelinesWorking with financial datasets including earnings calls, news and company filingsCollaborating with engineering teams to build reliable, low-latency AI infrastructure on AWS What they're looking for4+ years' experience building and deploying production ML systemsStrong Python experience with solid backend engineering skills (Go is highly desirable)Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow or Hugging FaceGood understanding of transformers, embeddings and modern LLM architecturesExperience building scalable data pipelines and ML infrastructureAWS experience (EKS, ECS, Lambda, S3, EC2)Comfortable working in a remote, distributed engineering team Nice to haveFintech or financial data experienceExperience with RAG architectures and vector databasesKafka or streaming platformsMLOps tooling such as MLflow, Airflow or SageMakerStartup experienceOpen-source contributions Tech StackPython | Go | PyTorch | TensorFlow | Hugging Face | LangChain | AWS | Kubernetes | Docker | Kafka | PostgreSQL | OpenSearch | GitHub Actions | Datadog | Grafana The role📍 Remote (EU or US time zone overlap preferred)💰 $70,000–$100,000🕒 Full-time Contractor (40+ hours per week)🚀 Immediate start availableIf you're interested, or know someone who might be a great fit, feel free to message me directly.
