Company based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.AI SaaS | Machine Learning | Applied AI | ML Engineering | Production AI Our client, a growing AI SaaS company based in Amsterdam, is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to build, train, and productionise machine-learning models powering customer-facing AI products. You'll work across the ML lifecycle—from experimentation and model development through integration, deployment, and production improvement—alongside Software, Data, and Product teams. What You'll Work On• Design, train, and evaluate machine-learning models in Python• Develop ML solutions using PyTorch and modern ML libraries• Turn prototypes and experiments into production-ready systems• Build APIs and services that expose ML capabilities to customer-facing products• Containerise ML workloads using Docker• Deploy and operate models in AWS and/or GCP environments• Work with structured and unstructured datasets using Python and SQL• Build data processing and feature-engineering workflows• Evaluate model quality and iterate based on production performance• Improve inference performance, scalability, and reliability• Integrate ML capabilities into existing product and backend systems• Collaborate with Product, Data, and Software Engineers throughout the development lifecycle Core Skills• 3+ years of professional experience in Machine Learning Engineering, Applied ML, Data Science with production experience, or a similar role• Python• PyTorch• Machine Learning• Docker• AWS and/or GCP• SQL• REST APIs / backend integration• Experience taking ML models beyond experimentation into production Nice to Have⭐ scikit-learn⭐ TensorFlow⭐ FastAPI⭐ Kubernetes⭐ MLflow⭐ NLP / LLMs⭐ Computer Vision⭐ Recommendation or ranking systems⭐ Feature stores⭐ Model monitoring⭐ CI/CD for ML workloads⭐ Experience building customer-facing AI products
