Marine Operations Coordinator - Malta based

About the RoleWe are seeking a motivated and proactive Marine Operations Coordinator to join our team. The role involves coordinating and supporting Ship-to-Ship (STS) transfer operations, ensuring effective communication between vessels, agents, service providers, and internal teams while maintaining high operational and safety standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and monitor daily STS operations to ensure safe and efficient executionLiaise with vessel operators, masters, agents, and service providers regarding schedules and operational needsPrepare and manage operational documentation, including checklists, plans, risk assessments, and pre-arrival documentsMaintain and update operational records, certificates, and vessel documentationCoordinate mobilization and demobilization of STS equipment such as fenders and hosesMonitor weather conditions, vessel movements, and operational constraintsSupport compliance with industry guidelines, procedures, and safety management systemsAssist with logistics planning, manpower allocation, and equipment readinessMaintain communication with offshore teams and provide operational support during STS activities Qualifications & ExperienceExperience in the maritime, marine services, or shipping/logistics industry is preferred, ideally with exposure to STS operationsStrong coordination, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressureGood problem-solving abilities and attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office and operational reporting toolsFluent in English (written and spoken)Maritime background or relevant operational experience is considered an advantage.
