Position: Mechanical Design / CAD ExpertType: ContractCompensation: $66 - $130/hourLocation: RemoteCommitment: 10-40 hrs/week Role ResponsibilitiesProvide detailed input on mechanical design solutions using advanced CAD tools.Evaluate and critique engineering drawings for accuracy and manufacturability.Assess and recommend design for manufacturability and tolerance analysis practices.Contribute insights on engineering mechanics and geometric modeling challenges.Review and enhance graphics and geometric modeling representations for assemblies.Offer guidance on best practices in manufacturing engineering and simulate design scenarios. RequirementsHave strong relevant experience in production design with GD&T and DFM principles.Proficiency with industry-standard CAD platforms like SolidWorks, CATIA, or NX.Strong understanding of tribology, engineering mechanics, and geometric dimensioning.Experience in manufacturing engineering and end-to-end product development.Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey technical concepts.
