Role: Mechanical Engineer (Remote)Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere)Job Type: ContractPayout: $66 - $130/hour Role Overview:We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Mechanical Design Expert (Remote) to work on a contract basis. The position requires expertise in CAD modeling and mechanical design to develop components and assemblies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine designs for manufacturability and performance. Key Responsibilities:• Develop detailed 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using industry-standard software.• Create and iterate on mechanical designs to meet specified requirements and constraints.• Perform tolerance stack-up analyses and ensure designs comply with engineering standards.• Generate and maintain accurate documentation, including BOMs and design specifications.• Provide technical support during prototyping, testing, and production phases. Required Skills & Qualifications:• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent is required.• Experience with parametric modeling and sheet metal design is required.• Knowledge of GD&T and industry best practices for mechanical design is required.• Familiarity with simulation tools for structural and thermal analysis is preferred.• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications is required.
