Freelance nCino Engineer (Remote – Occasional Travel to Cologne or Austria)Contract Type: Freelance / ContractorLocation: Remote (Europe preferred)Travel: Occasional travel to Cologne, Germany and Austria (approximately 1–2 days per month, project dependent)Duration: 6–12 months (with potential extension)Start Date: ASAPAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Freelance nCino Engineer to support the delivery and enhancement of an nCino implementation for a financial services client. This is a primarily remote role with occasional on-site collaboration in Cologne or Austria for workshops, planning sessions, and key project milestones.You will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, Salesforce developers, and delivery teams to configure, customise, and optimise the nCino platform.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, configure, and customise nCino solutions on the Salesforce platform.Develop scalable solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and Salesforce configuration.Support the implementation of Commercial Lending, Retail Banking, or relevant nCino modules.Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Participate in solution design workshops and technical discussions.Perform code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.Ensure solutions follow Salesforce and nCino best practices.Document technical designs and implementation decisions.Required Skills & ExperienceProven experience delivering nCino implementations in financial services.Strong Salesforce Platform development experience, including:ApexLightning Web Components (LWC)Salesforce FlowsSOQL/SOSLExperience with Salesforce DevOps and deployment tools.Understanding of banking processes, particularly lending or customer onboarding.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery teams.Ability to work independently in a remote environment.Preferred QualificationsnCino certification(s).Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification.Salesforce Administrator or Advanced Administrator certification.Experience with European banking regulations is advantageous.German language skills are beneficial but not essential.Working ArrangementRemote-first working model.Occasional travel to Cologne (Germany) or Austria for workshops and key project activities.Flexible working hours with collaboration across European time zones.What We're Looking ForA proactive consultant who can quickly integrate into an existing delivery team.Strong technical expertise combined with stakeholder-facing communication skills.Someone who enjoys solving complex banking technology challenges while working in a collaborative international environment.Application Requirements
