Part-IS Auditor / Aviation Cybersecurity ExpertLocation: EuropeCompany: Cyber Audit Company OyEngagement Type: Freelancer or Consultant through Own Company Cyber Audit Company is a specialized aviation cybersecurity assurance organization supporting the implementation, assessment, and oversight of EASA Part-IS requirements across the European aviation sector. As a Qualified Entity, we support aviation authorities in regulatory oversight activities and provide independent assessments of aviation organizations. We also help airlines, airports, maintenance organizations, air navigation service providers, manufacturers, and other aviation stakeholders establish, implement, and maintain compliance with EASA Part-IS requirements.We are expanding our network and are seeking experienced aviation cybersecurity professionals, auditors, and subject matter experts across Europe. Key ResponsibilitiesConduct EASA Part-IS audits, assessments, and compliance reviewsParticipate in regulatory oversight activities supporting aviation authoritiesAssess Information Security Management Systems, governance, and risk management processesEvaluate cybersecurity controls, processes, and operational effectivenessReview compliance evidence, policies, procedures, and regulatory documentationConduct interviews with senior management, operational personnel, and technical teamsPrepare audit reports, findings, recommendations, and corrective action proposalsSupport clients in implementing and improving their Part-IS compliance programsDeliver gap assessments, readiness reviews, and advisory servicesContribute to the development of aviation cybersecurity methodologies and best practices Mandatory RequirementsMinimum five years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, IT audit, aviation security, risk management, compliance, or a related fieldExperience conducting audits, assessments, or compliance reviewsStrong understanding of governance, risk management, and security controlsExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishLegal residence within a European countryValid right to work within EuropeWillingness to travel across Europe when required Preferred QualificationsExperience with EASA Part-IS requirementsExperience working within airlines, airports, air navigation service providers, maintenance organizations, aerospace manufacturers, aviation suppliers, or aviation authoritiesKnowledge of aviation operational environments and safety management systemsExperience with:ISO 27001NIS2Cybersecurity risk managementSecurity operationsIncident managementThird-party risk managementRegulatory compliance frameworks Preferred CertificationsCISSPCISMCISACRISCISO 27001 Lead AuditorISO 27001 Lead ImplementerOther relevant cybersecurity, audit, or aviation qualifications Language SkillsExcellent written and spoken English is required.One or more additional European languages will be considered a significant advantage.
