Planning Manager

Location – Finland, Seinajoki Type: Permanent (3/1 rotation - 3 weeks working on site - 1 week off back home)Key Requirement: Candidates must hold valid EU passport & Experience with Data CentreShared AccommodationFlights/travel expenses covered This is an exciting opportunity to lead all planning and scheduling activities on a largescale construction project, working alongside senior project leadership to driveprogramme performance from design through to commissioning and handover.As Planning Manager, you'll be responsible for developing and managing the integratedproject programme, monitoring progress, identifying risks, and ensuring projects aredelivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Key Responsibilities• Develop, maintain, and manage the integrated master project programme usingPrimavera P6.• Coordinate planning activities across engineering, procurement, construction,commissioning, and handover.• Establish and maintain project baselines while ensuring programme accuracythroughout the project lifecycle.• Monitor project progress, analyse critical path activities, and identify risks,delays, and recovery opportunities.• Produce regular progress reports, look-ahead schedules, dashboards, andprogramme updates.• Lead planning meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, includingCSA, Mechanical, Electrical, QA/QC, Commercial, Procurement, HSE,Engineering, and Commissioning.• Support construction sequencing, logistics planning, and project deliverystrategies.• Assess programme impacts arising from design changes, procurement delays,and project risks.• Support extension of time assessments, recovery planning, and delay analysis.• Provide accurate programme reporting and planning advice to seniormanagement and client stakeholders.• Mentor and support project planners while promoting best practice across theplanning function. About You• Degree qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, ProjectManagement, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.• Proven experience as a Planning Manager or Senior Planner on large-scaleconstruction projects.• Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6.• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, project controls, andprogramme management.• Previous experience within data centres, mission-critical, industrial,pharmaceutical, or complex infrastructure projects is highly desirable.• Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.• Confident working in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary project environment.
