About The Internship
This internship offers the opportunity to work with the Secretariat for the Leadership Group for Industry Transition (LeadIT), which is hosted by SEI. LeadIT brings together governments, businesses and research organizations to accelerate the transition of high-emitting industries, such as steel, cement and heavy transport, towards alignment with the Paris Agreement and net-zero emissions. It was the first high-level initiative to take on this work and was set up by the governments of Sweden and India at the request of the UN Secretary-General in 2019.

You will gain real experience with a global climate initiative and exposure to senior policymakers, industry leaders and researchers working on industry decarbonization topics. Tasks include producing impactful stories in a variety of formats; crafting engaging feature articles and social media posts; producing and editing videos; and creating eye-catching infographics, explainers and templates.
