Product Manager We’re looking for a Product Manager to join our team in Espoo. At its heart, this role is about strong product management: understanding customer problems, setting a clear direction and making thoughtful decisions about what to prioritise. You’ll work closely with engineering and commercial colleagues to turn customer insight into products that make a real difference. About the role You’ll own our Lighting Controls product domain end to end, from discovery and strategy to roadmap, lifecycle and commercial performance. The portfolio includes controllers, sensors, panels, dimmers, relays/contactors and wired, wireless and hybrid control infrastructure. Working alongside the Engineering Manager, you’ll define what problems to solve and why, while Engineering leads how products are developed and delivered. You’ll collaborate with Offering, Sales, Presales, Marketing and Future Lighting to keep the portfolio competitive, coherent and easy to adopt. What you’ll bring Significant B2B product management experience with measurable customer and commercial impact, including ownership of strategy, roadmaps, prioritisation and lifecycle decisions. Experience with technical products or systems is strongly preferred.Strong customer discovery skills and commercial acumen, with the ability to turn insight and performance data into clear priorities and decisions, including when evidence is incomplete.Experience working with engineering leaders and multidisciplinary teams in iterative product development. You can challenge constructively, communicate trade-offs and influence colleagues without relying on formal authority.Working knowledge of connected hardware, embedded software and software-enabled systems, plus an understanding of quality, compliance, cybersecurity, interoperability and lifecycle risk in international B2B markets. Lighting controls, building automation, DALI or wireless control experience is advantageous.A relevant engineering, technology or business degree, or equivalent practical experience, fluent written and spoken English, and willingness to travel occasionally. What you’ll do Build a deep understanding of customer needs through direct discovery with end users, specifiers, partners and customer-facing teams, and translate insights into clear outcomes, requirements, use cases and success measures.Own product strategy, positioning and the roadmap, using customer value, market evidence, strategic fit, commercial impact and delivery risk to prioritise investments.Partner with Engineering throughout product creation, making clear trade-offs around scope, timing, quality and cost, and supporting effective discovery, release decisions and learning.Manage the full product lifecycle, from introduction and evolution to rationalisation and end of life. Track revenue, margin, adoption, customer experience, quality and support needs to guide improvements and investment.Contribute to pricing, packaging and business cases with Offering and Finance. Support launches, value propositions and commercial readiness, equipping Marketing, Sales and Presales with clear product information and proof points.Engage strategic customers and ecosystem partners to validate direction and support adoption. Monitor technology, standards, regulation and competitors, and ensure compliance, security, interoperability, maintainability and product risks inform decisions.
