Project Director - Data Centre Construction

Our client is a rapidly expanding data centre developer with a global portfolio spanning Europe, Asia-Pacific, and North America. The organisation operates with internal funding and owner led governance, enabling faster project delivery and strategic decision making than many competitors.

They are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead major construction initiatives across their growing campus pipeline. This is a permanent role with the specific level and compensation to be confirmed through the recruitment process. The successful candidate should be prepared for relocation to Finland and the possibility of multiple interview rounds as part of their evaluation. Lead large scale, complex data centre construction projects from inception through completion Scope for progression within a top-tier global developer Opportunity to work across a 36-campus portfolio with accelerated career growth in a rapidly scaling organisation Preferred Requirements Substantial experience delivering data centre construction projects at comparable scale and complexity, ideally from other operators or hyperscalers across Europe Proven track record in project oversight and delivery within data centre environments Background in either data centre development, project management consultancy, or general contracting with demonstrable success on major infrastructure programmes Professional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and international teams Willingness to relocate and establish tax residency where required by the role location Preferred Qualifications Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline Professional qualification such as PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent project management certification Experience in adjacent sectors including oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, advanced manufacturing, or logistics demonstrates transferable expertise
