The Role

We are looking for a Project Leader to join our new Strategic Product Projects team in Gothenburg. This team owns Consilium's highest-priority product projects and drives them end to end, from concept through to market launch.

This is a high-impact role where you will combine project leadership, cross-functional coordination, and stakeholder management to make sure our most important projects ship on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work across engineering, product management, sales, and operations.

Our projects vary in complexity and strategic weight, and you will typically lead several in parallel at different stages of their lifecycle. The team is collaborative, international, and solution-oriented, offering strong opportunities for both professional and personal growth.

What You’ll Do

Lead product projects end to end, from concept to launchPlan, coordinate, and follow up on project scope, timelines, budgets, and risksEnsure project goals, quality standards, and delivery milestones are achievedIdentify and remove blockers early to keep momentum from idea to finished productDrive consistent, standardised ways of working across our product linesManage stakeholders and provide clear, regular progress reporting to leadershipCoordinate closely with engineering, product management, production, sales and service teamsEngage with customers, suppliers, and partners where projects require itContribute to the continuous improvement of how we deliver products as we scale

Who We’re Looking For

We believe you are a proactive and structured leader who takes ownership of outcomes and thrives on turning complex, ambiguous work into clear, predictable delivery. You are communicative, commercially aware, and comfortable balancing technical detail with the bigger strategic picture. You build trust quickly across functions and keep teams moving toward a shared goal.

We Believe You Have

A degree in engineering, or an equivalent fieldProven experience leading complex, cross-functional projectsA strong project management toolkit covering planning, budgeting, risk, and stakeholder managementConfidence operating in technical product environments and translating between technical and commercial stakeholdersExcellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken

Experience in any of the following areas is highly valued:

New product development combining hardware and softwareSafety systems or other regulated technical environmentsWorking in international, matrixed, or multi-product organisations

To succeed in this role, you are organised, driven, and able to manage multiple priorities at once while holding a high bar on quality and delivery.
