Project ManagerVantaa, FinlandCompetitive Salary + Package We are working with a leading international construction and engineering contractor delivering major projects across the data centre, advanced manufacturing, pharmaceutical and logistics sectors throughout Europe. They are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the team on a major data centre project in Vantaa, Finland. This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing international contractor and take a key role in the delivery of a large-scale, technically complex project. The RoleAs Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of the project, coordinating construction, programme, design, commercial and stakeholder requirements.You will work closely with the client, consultants, subcontractors and internal project teams to ensure the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards. Key ResponsibilitiesManage the day-to-day delivery of the project against programme, budget and quality requirements.Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and subcontractors.Monitor project progress, key milestones, risks and potential delays.Work closely with the commercial team to manage costs, variations and contractual requirements.Coordinate with design and engineering teams to resolve technical and buildability issues.Manage subcontractor performance and ensure works are planned and delivered effectively.Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.Chair and attend project and progress meetings.Maintain accurate project reporting and communicate progress, risks and key issues to stakeholders.Drive high standards of health, safety and quality throughout project delivery.Support commissioning, project completion and final client handover. The CandidatePrevious experience as a Project Manager within construction or engineering.Experience delivering large-scale or technically complex construction projects.Strong understanding of programme, commercial and project management.Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary project teams.Strong client and stakeholder management skills.Commercially aware with strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.Degree-qualified or equivalent industry experience in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline.Data centre experience would be highly advantageous.Experience within advanced manufacturing, pharmaceutical, logistics or other mission-critical environments would also be considered.Previous experience working in Finland or the wider Nordic construction market would be advantageous.Professional working proficiency in English.
