We are looking for a Purchasing & Operations Lead to join our Oulu team a permanent, full-time position.Our Oulu operations focus on building fully automated test systems and automated material handling solutions for our customers. The local team consists of approximately four employees, supported by temporary personnel according to project and workload needs.We are looking for a practical and proactive person to take ownership of day-to-day purchasing and local operations. This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with project management, engineering, suppliers and our Oulu team to ensure that the right materials and services are available when they are needed.Your responsibilitiesYour main responsibility will be daily operational purchasing for our customer projects, using the Odoo ERP system. You will:Place and follow up purchase orders for components, materials and subcontracted servicesEnsure material availability in line with project schedulesActively follow up deliveries and resolve shortages and delivery issuesRequest quotations and compare suppliers, prices and lead timesFind alternative suppliers and components when neededNegotiate prices, lead times and commercial termsMaintain and develop supplier relationshipsIdentify opportunities for cost reductions and purchasing improvementsLead the day-to-day activities of our Oulu operationsCoordinate the daily work of approximately four employeesWork closely with project management, engineering and OiTec's wider supply chain organizationWhat we are looking forWe value practical experience and a hands-on attitude.
